Temporary Cleaner Matric Required Full-time Job

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our Facilities Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in designated areas, supporting smooth day-to-day operations, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment for all staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean designated facility areas including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, washing, etc.)

• Notify the Facilities Department of any damages, repairs, or maintenance needs

• Work cooperatively with colleagues and departments to ensure uninterrupted service and support

• Replenish staff refreshments and consumables in designated areas as needed

• Follow all health and safety regulations and hygiene standards

• Perform additional ad hoc cleaning duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent (Essential)

• Previous experience as a cleaner (Advantageous)

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, hygiene standards, and cleaning chemical safety

• Understanding of general hygiene and workplace cleanliness practices
