Wiz Admissions exists to close a gap we kept running into ourselves: most study-abroad and scholarship content online is written generically, for a global audience, by teams who’ve never dealt with the specific hurdles African applicants face — documentation requirements, visa refusal patterns, proof-of-funds thresholds, and application costs that hit differently depending on where you’re applying from.
We operate remotely, and we write from that vantage point first — while keeping every guide useful to students anywhere pursuing international education.
What we do
We publish practical, specific guides across five areas: study destinations, scholarships and funding, admissions and applications, test prep, and visa and relocation. Every scholarship listing carries a “last verified” date, because outdated scholarship information is one of the most common ways applicants waste weeks of effort on programs that no longer exist or have changed their terms.
Our editorial approach
We fact-check against official sources — university admissions pages, government scholarship portals, and embassy guidance — rather than recycling other listicles. Where a claim depends on a source that could change (deadlines, funding amounts, eligibility rules), we point you to the official page to confirm current details rather than presenting a number that might already be stale by the time you read it.
