How to Calculate UNILAG Aggregate Score

UNILAG uses an aggregate scoring system that combines your JAMB score, POST-UTME score, and O’Level grades. Understanding this formula helps you assess your real chances of admission.

UNILAG Aggregate Formula:

  • JAMB UTME Score: 50%
  • POST-UTME Score: 30%
  • O’Level Grades: 20%

How It Works:

Step 1: Convert your JAMB score to a percentage of the total.
JAMB Contribution = (Your JAMB Score ÷ 400) × 50

Step 2: Convert your POST-UTME score.
POST-UTME Contribution = (Your POST-UTME Score ÷ Total POST-UTME Mark) × 30

Step 3: Convert your O’Level grades.
Each A1 = 4 points, B2 = 3.5, B3 = 3, C4 = 2.5, C5 = 2, C6 = 1.5
O’Level Contribution = (Total O’Level Points ÷ Maximum Points) × 20

Step 4: Add all three contributions for your aggregate score.

Example:
JAMB Score: 270 → (270 ÷ 400) × 50 = 33.75
POST-UTME: 65/100 → (65 ÷ 100) × 30 = 19.50
O’Level: 5 A1s → (20 ÷ 20) × 20 = 20.00
Total Aggregate: 73.25

Can I get into UNILAG with a JAMB score of 200?

What is UNILAG’s aggregate score requirement?
