Main Objectives
The primary objective of the General Worker Bread Packer is to execute full and on-time daily targets within the Production Department according to the bulk operational plan. The role requires strictly ensuring that the integrity and quality of the product are never compromised, following “The Premier Way.”
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Food Safety: Maintain high-quality product standards in the Production Department, adhering strictly to SOPs, Food Safety guidelines, and Health & Safety regulations.
Housekeeping & Maintenance: Maintain high housekeeping standards at all times and perform planned maintenance on assigned assets.
Production Operations: Assist with crate stacking, picking of stock, and managing damage repacks efficiently.
Administrative Duties: Support accurate administration, inventory record control, and compliance with all company rules and procedures.
Skills and Attributes Required
Equipment Operation: Ability to effectively operate and maintain scales and various production machinery.
Production Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing/production processes and quality management principles.
Numerical Ability & Accuracy: Proficient in converting units to calculate batch requirements with extreme attention to detail and accurate documentation.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Educational Qualification: Grade 12 / Matric certificate.

Work Environment & Operational Conditions
Factory Environment: Candidates must be comfortable working in a hot, noisy environment exposed to maize and flour dust.
Schedule Flexibility: Required to work overtime as needed, including after-hours shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Work Pace: Ability to perform consistently under pressure in a fast-paced production setting.
