We are seeking a disciplined, detail-oriented Delivery Driver to join our team in Centurion and Gauteng. In this role, you will play a critical part in our logistics operations, ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate will take ownership of stock integrity, uphold high standards of vehicle maintenance, and deliver exceptional customer service while representing our brand values.
Key Responsibilities
Safe & Timely Delivery: Transport goods to designated destinations following assigned routes, company protocols, and traffic regulations.
Cargo Security & Loading: Assist with and supervise loading operations to ensure stock is properly packed, secured, and protected against transit damage.
Vehicle Care & Inspection: Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues promptly, and maintain the vehicle in a clean, roadworthy condition.
Documentation & Cash Handling: Verify stock accuracy against delivery notes, collect authorized signatures, and securely handle Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions when required.
Customer Service: Act as a professional brand ambassador by providing courteous, helpful service to branch staff and clients.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Grade 12 (Matric) certificate required.
Licensing: Valid Code 8 (LV) or Code 10 (HV) driver’s licence.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ professional delivery or distribution experience.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of safe driving practices, vehicle care, and delivery documentation procedures.
Competencies: High attention to detail, reliability, strong sense of accountability, and excellent interpersonal skills.
